Day 3: Fitness........

I am going to just say I got plenty of fitness walking up and down a ten foot ladder while repainting my foyer!!  I am hurting today!!  Butt, legs, arms, neck, back, and anything else that is on my body.
Here is part of the finished project!

SPARKLY SHOES!!!

Sorry, this has absolutely nothing to do with craftiness or creativity!  I took a break from my project to go pick up my order!  I got these precious babies today!!  LOVE!

Day 2: Creating and Crafting

So, after finally deciding what I needed to do to my foyer walls (after a year ago my sweet husband decided it was time to put spackling(?) on the wall you see when you come in, which was khaki and the spackling was of course white) I began my project today!!  Here is the before picture of one of the walls.

See in the far bottom right corner??  You can see a little of the spackling.  GRRR.....  So anyways, for a year (at least) I was trying to come up with an alternate to repainting my discontinued Khaki wall paint.  I decided to paint vertical stripes of cream!  You can faintly see my pencil lines :)  So, this will be #2 on my New Years List!  Happy painting to me!

My New Year! Day 1: Fun and Family

Last year was a total BUST!  If I do say so myself.  Grad school, tornadoes destroying my school and disrupting the lives of so many of my students, oldest son moved back home, middle son graduated highschool, etc. etc.
I am wishing and hoping that this new year is WAY better!! I will graduate in May with my Masters in Educational Leadership, yay me!  And hopefully......our brand new school will be getting closer to being finished!!

So, with that being said, for day one I hope to have a great year with my family that is full of FUN!  Baseball and soccer games to watch my boys shine at what they love doing is at the top of my list!
